Evoloce is a response to the complex issues we are facing as biotechnology progresses. I am intrigued by how technology and science allow us to shape the way in which others see us and how we see ourselves. Much of my previous artwork has addressed human interaction in our technological era. The focus in this work derives from the complexities surrounding our desire for perfection within our society’s standards and how evolutionary outcomes could be affected if paired with self-directed human genetics.
