New media art, remix culture, and glitch aesthetics have all created a significant shift in contemporary art. The collapsing of past art movements, along with current technologies and new media have created new memes of older critical theory and hybridized the process of making and looking. The ways in which we consume objects and images in the digital realm are forcing us to relearn the way we see in the physical world, and vice versa.
