The Low-Residency MFA in Visual Studies presents an evening with Visiting Artist Robert Ortbal.

Robert Ortbal makes public art commissions, large-scale installations, and sculpture that employ a very eclectic range of materials to explore the distinct and interrelated worlds of natural phenomena and human nature. A recent fellow of the Jordan Schnitzer Printmaking Residency at Sitka Center for Art and Ecology, Robert is an Associate Professor in Sculpture at California State University, Sacramento. He received his MFA in ceramic sculpture from the University of California, Davis.
