Eaten: Food as data, or diet through identity
Through documenting my diet in a photographic typology and creating volumes of data with these images, I want to allow my viewer to begin to be aware of their thoughts, their reactions to my diet, and to experience their convictions and opinions about food. In creating an index in the back of my volumes I give them a small slice of context for my decisions around food. I want the viewer to start to see that their opinions come from a place within themselves. They might want to probe that, they might recoil and keep to their thoughts; either is fine.
