The following paper is much like the oral defense for my final thesis project. Much of that speech, as well as this paper, explains the relationship between the two main male role models in my life; my father and my papa, and how they have been important to me, as well as to this project.
When I embarked on the body of work for thesis, I wanted to separate my affinity for Westerns from the affinity and correlations these men have with Westerns. As my research continued throughout the thesis process, my question changed and was answered.
