Preserving the Past

For thousands of years we have found ways to preserve memories. We hold onto memories by creating stories through language and images. These stories and images are turned into mementos. As we grow older there is a possibility we will forget special events, places we visited, or even loved one’s faces. One wants to hold onto a memento to remember what we lost or who we once were. This paper will explore ways by which we might do this.
