I am interested in what we can make of rhizomatic spaces and entropic situations: how do we [re]order the nonlinear? The references in this paper may seem divergent, yet they function as do objects in the world: [objects are] autonomous, imbedded with an immeasurable depth, receding from mutual contact into strange private vacuums, but somehow making contact through indirect or vicarious means. This is my central interest and my subsequent interests, materialized in this essay, are linguistic revealings of themes that have affected my thesis studio practice[s].
