For my thesis I have created twelve prints that jointly represent my life through recollection. The creation process forced me to become immersed in a forgotten past that indirectly affected the decisions and ideas I formed. This work is also born out of a solid
desire to unravel and seek out that which is invisible to us all but invariably present. It is a physical representation of my journey to understand what it is that prompts us all to love, to abhor, to come, to go, to finish, to start, to essentially decide. I have learned, through the production of my images, that memories become stronger when they establish a concrete relationship with form.
Likewise, I’ve learned that reflection provides us with an innate
understanding of why we react the way we do and how then to alter our reactions.
