I have created a series of intaglio prints, larger than life woodblocks, and letter-pressed zines that represent a unification of spirit between the human animal and the rest of the animal kingdom. These spirits have a voice, a history, and a struggle. And when they walk, seeds can be sprouting in their path. These seeds are of native plants that get into the cracks of the concrete and they too fight back, and slowly yet surely, they tear the concrete apart that holds this empire up. These spirits, these warriors of the Earth, are bringing forth the spring.
