Brooke Eastburn BFA Thesis Spring 2009

Using Video as my medium, “Cunt-Milk” is a seven sequences of sexual fantasy. These fantasies are my own, and have been lifted from my conscious and subconscious.
The sequences play out as inner-self dialogue. As the fantasies evolve, so do I. Through transgressing my notions of the erotic, I am able to achieve greater power over my consciousness. I own my sexual imagination. This transcendence of self is metaphorically represented as death, drawing the line between death and eroticism.
Beyond the inner dialogue of this video, another aspect lies: the collective conscious. I believe that in creating work about my own desires, I am able to open a wider lens on not just female desire, but on our collective notion of what we view as erotica, pornography, and art.
