Obsession, Collection: Holding on Until I’m Ready, is a continuation of previous work. In which this work navigates within the realm of my relationship my father and brother. How I see myself in this generational whirlpool. I am fixating on the things to remember, driven by a deeper dive into my obsession with repetition in the objects in my life and those that have once been part of my life. Obsession explore ways to stay connected with my memories  the objects are my helpers. To recreate is to remember, not just for me but for my family and the things around me. This exhibition features numerous prints that collage using multiple mediums along with felted and foam sculptures. This MFA thesis is a physical manifestation of memory within object, memory within shadows, memory within the obsession in repetition.
