Clutter: in the home, not the mind, is a multimedia product line using the methodical nature of craft to both relieve my own stress and convey that serenity to the viewer. I created 4 products in the collection: 3 mini prints, one of a kind clay pins, 6 vinyl stickers, and a fabric pattern that was then turned into scrunchies to sell. In the creation of this product line, it was my goal to not only allow myself to do a variety of things with different mediums in order to keep the project fresh and interesting, but also keep the stress of thesis at bay through the relaxation of crafting. To convey this feeling of relaxation that I felt while crafting to the actual viewer, I focused a lot on materials, textures, color, lighting, shape, and scale. With all these elements working together, they make a cohesive body of work that brings an essence of peace to those who look at them. This product line serves as a first release on my online store and the beginning of my journey as a small business owner! It has always been my goal to become a small business, so Clutter has been an exciting journey for me.
