Queer Agape is a 20-page illustrated book of poetry, both written and created exploring the queer idenity through religious, specifically Cathiolic, iconography as well as some horror imagery. But specifically a horror feeling of being unsettled and facing a reality you try to ignore or turn a blind eye to. Exploring the LGBT through 6 full bleed images and matching poems in a 7×7 or 7×14 page format, this is a book created for sharing the experience with the community rather than just for one specific person’s self. By Sharing this book, hopefully more queer youth will see they’re not alone in their expierences and will help shine a light onto a different view point to the straight cisgender audience.
