Ecotone Philosophy and Approach: A Seasonal Compendium

In this paper I reflect on my personal and professional development as an artist, designer and practitioner. After careful study of the ecotone, the transition between different regions or landscapes, and seasonal transitions, I applied both metaphors to my life and studies. The subsequent paper is a documentation of my process: part personal journey, part application. As the ecotone and seasons are not linear, the form of my thesis is circular. In order to allow form and content to align, my approach offers relevant writings about my experience of the seasons over the past two years in the form of a retrospective journal. It serves as a compendium of my process, projects, and philosophy.
