Dodo Bird

The main figure of the painting is a strange looking bird sitting on a nest, the body of the bird is made out of a gourd. In the background you can see a glass structure that has a crown around it, and is filled with my collection of wasp nests that are just peeking through at the bottom of the painting. Just visible at the bottom left of the painting is a large white marble ball that was once part of a lamp base. It is a more hodgepodge gathering of items in a forgotten corner that needed a little love.
