Action: This is a kinetic sculpture which drives around vinyl arrows made to represent a “retweet” icon.

Context: At the time of making this sculpture (according to a pew research study) it was estimated that 66% of twitter users were automated/bot accounts. It was my attempt to speak visually to that, as well as within my speech about the object question if these “difficult to detect” automated accounts, and interactions are in fact passing the Turing Test (a test to evaluate if an artificial intelligence has been made), or that if the resulting goal of actors outside of twitter (the ones making the automated account more and more difficult to detect) are by operating in this way developing Ai.
