For my thesis I have created a 2 ½ minute 2D digitally animated short film titled “The Hunter”. The film fits into a larger project called “The Cursed Heroes” that I plan to continue working on after college. The contents of the film are about Tobias, one of the characters from the larger project, and depicts a crucial moment in his life. Within the film the themes of abuse and by extension intergenerational abuse, random violence, escapism, and its relation to power fantasy are present. Escapism and power fantasy are the two themes that are present in most of the work that I create. At its core, “The Hunter” is short film about a man just wanting to be left alone, while also serving as a personal exploration of one of my fears through the research conducted and creation of the film itself.

Currently, “The Hunter” is unavailable for viewing due to film festival requirements.
